Beats range from Texas, the criminal justice system and the US Supreme Court to politics, education and climate change. Writes on average two stories a week while researching and reporting two or three more, for online and weekly magazine. Occasional photography and audio work. Research and pitch many of my own stories. Hired full-time after one year as intern. Promoted from GA reporter to Texas Correspondent.
